My Mom died Sunday Jan 2nd. She was born in 1919 and saw 10 decades while living a full life. Her femur broke just under the hip joint Friday and she never recovered, just shutting down in two days. Dad at age 90 is not doing well withthis, Prayers, thoughs and positive smoke signals are appreciated. Bro, Moldy Joe, is coming from Afghanistan, his son from U.A.E. We'll be busy. Thanks, Gianni.

Gianni,

My deepest condolence's to you and your family. 10 decades is a lot of living, I would loved to have sat and just listened to how things changed in her lifetime.

Thanks guys, I have a few hours today before more busy time. Murph, she went from an era where WW1 communication strategies were to shoot the carrier pigeons to phones being common in homes, TV, fax and cell phones to instant messaging. For her early years an orange was a once yearly Christmas treat to todays vast array of foods, her father never learned to drive and felt if it couldn't be done looking over the ears of a horse it didn't need doing, her son and grand-son flew in from UAE, & Afghanistan in a number of hours. Some big changes she lived through.

Thanks for all your support, It makes times like this easier when you feel the love and prayers of good friends around you. It was also a blessing to come home for the funeral. I'm headed back to the sand box next week. Thanks again, MoldyJoe
