I went through the search function to no avail, so here is my question; what pressure is necessary to drive a plain base boolit to 1800-2000fps in the following .30 cal weights?
150
180
200
220grs
Also, any powder recommendations?
Thanks!

Happiness will not be yours at that pressure and velocity without a gas check.

Chargar is right. You may be able to drive them that fast but results are not likely to be good.
I also think you will find that the pressure required is dependent upon much more than bullet weight and caliber. What case? Barrel length? Powder? So many variables, so little info given.

O.K., more info; 150 and 160 in the 7.62X39 (SKS), and 180-220 in the 303 Brit. Using WDWW. Have H4831, H4350, and H4895, Red Dot and 2400. I was wanting to PB a GC mold or two.

You'll have the best luck, if using a bullet that is PB, with the slowest powders possible for your given velocities as they will yield the lowest pressures (more cast boolit friendly). GC or paper patch are definitely a better route though, but it can be done with a PB design.

I get over those velocities with accuracy in a .308 Win with gas checked bullets using a 21BHN alloy from 7 parts wheel weights and 3 parts Linotype. and H4895 and H380 do it pretty well with the lowest pressures in the recommended powders..

In the spirit of the New Year, I wish you all of the best in your search for Cast Bullet perfection. There are exceptions to every principal and it might be you. I almost could not believe it when they landed on the Moon in 1968.

I noticed my post count was 3,999, so I thought I might as well make it 4,000
