Something VERY Useful to know

I always lurk about my local Craig's List and a local Gun Trading Site
looking for goodies.

If I want to try other cities or States, it takes forever.

Try this with Google !

Go to "Advanced Search".

Put the Key works at the top in the normal place.

At the bottom on the line titled, "Search within a site or domain:"
put the place you are searching - entire name.

For instance for Craig's List - put

Craigslist.org.

Do the search....it looks ALL thru that "Domain" for the key words !

Amazing. All the USA's Craig's Lists !

Be prepared - you get a Butt Load of stuff back !

For this entire forum you might try

Anyway - I learned something new !

Some others obviously know about this advanced search. I listed an ice shanty on local listings, and got a response from this guy. Slow at taking a hint, I'm waiting to see if I get any more messages from him.

You can also do this in the regular Google search bar:

site:craigslist.org widgit

This will search the entire craigslist.org site for the thing 'widgit'.

Same as the advanced search.
