Anyone have any experience of this boolit mould manufacturer?

Johnch gave me the link in the Swap and Sell forum, they are new to me and just wondering about peoples opinions of their products.

Looks interesting but the sidebar menu choices did not work for me. Couldn't see what he was selling.

Yes they were funny for me to but maged to get through to their boolit list but all the links there weren't working either.

Try these:

Cursory looking seems to indicate a lot of the old ideal and Lyman designs.

Some nice looking .30 boolits! Looks like they resurected some of Ideal's old designs. There also seemms to be alot of pages still under construction, guess we'll have to wait.

The buttons are all dead for me too, except for the advertisements along the sides. Dead menu buttons and dead links on the mould caliber page that dromia posted.

I sent an e-mail to the "webmaster" to see if they could be fixed.

I do really like their disclaimer. "General Ordnance is a subsidiary of General Ordnance Development, Inc. (G.O.D.) All rights reserved. No unauthorized use without express permission of G.O.D.!" Hillarious!! [smilie=l:

At least one page of their 30 cal.(.311xxx) ilustrations came up for me...Includes their 311407 and 311440, a couple that I have been unable to find a Lyman 4c version in years of looking... Onceabull

I only looked at their .22 designs. There are a few I'd like to try. My major beef is that they're local. I'd have to pay sales tax (~$8.50/mould) to buy them. Now if someone were to run a group buy from another state... He also lists a veteran's discount. Maybe that would make up for the sales tax.

Stew

I'd like to try that 311025. But I'd like some feedback on their quality first.

All of the pages in the 1st column come up for me, through the 311 sizes. Very interesting. Yes, it does look like they're bringing back a bunch of the Ideal/Lyman designs, although the numbers only occasionally match up, at least with the listings I have. I like it.

onceabull, that 311 407 is listed at 225 grains! But who knows how accurate their descriptions are.;)

I'm thinking about giving them a try with the 311 359 to back up my one and only Lyman 4 C. I love that boolit through the .30 Carbine!

But they still believe in toxic fumes from lead!

C1PNR: Bill, I noted that quoted weight---, much heavier than I have seen listed anywhere for 311407., and my own 60's era Lyman 2c 311407...I'm actually hoping that theirs will make that 225 gr.weight or reasonably close,,,But don't really want one that puts out .316 castings( per the website--0.003 to.005 larger than first three digits in nomenclature....will be talking with them after New Years...
