Will start with the bad news.
The shop has shut us down until the first of the year.
We will not be shipping any more buys out this year.

The good news is they just received two (2) new mills
Sharp SV-2412 CNC mills

They have been working with one CNC mill up to this time.
We have had to share it with all there other production work load.
They have said they can now dedicate a mill to us full time!
This should up our production drastically. Once we get caught up
I hope we can get a reasonable delivery time in the very near future.
This has been a dream and a frustration of mine for the last year.

I hope you all can hang in a little longer and thank you for
sticking with us through all this.

Happy Holiday’s and Best Wishes to you and yours.

The BAD news is that I can't afford to be buying moulds at a faster rate than I am now ! :) :)

Swede, where exactly is the production break for the group buy moulds going to be? I'm guessing you wrapped one run up before stopping, just curious which one was last and which will be first on the new equipment.

Cant answer that.
We could be on the old mill or the new mill.
But I will say there will not be any change in quality.
If anything it should be better.
I will update the schedule ASAP.
I'm very excited to see this come together.

hmmmmmm, don't see no bad news, just new mills to keep the flow of molds running smooth.
I will see my molds when they arrive.

Merry Christmas to Swede and the workshop crew.

I spent 30 years repairing CNC machines like the ones above....These new ones are sooo much faster and easyer to work on... PJ

Swede - If you think your very, very poor group buy delivery times are frustrating to you (It was over 11 months wait for the 460 500 RF mold I finally received from NOE a few days ago) how do you think your group buy customers feel? The shop makes an excellent high quality product that I would be willing to buy more of, but not until your delivery times get back into the realm of reality. Best of luck and my best wishes that this new equipment will help you achieve that goal.

I'm really glad your shop is expanding, that'll make lots of happy customers in the future. In the meantime, I guess you didn't understand my question. You said "The shop has shut us down until the first of the year. We will not be shipping any more buys out this year." So that tells me production has halted until next year, as of now. I was asking which run was the last to be fully completed, not which machines will be used when things get going again.

I'm in on the 311-165 RD re-run, which as best I can tell is either going to be somewhere between in the mail and 7th run of next year. Others in buys last scheduled for late November/December must be wondering too....how about a clue?

I got the last one I ordered a couple weeks ago...just before winter arrived for Saint Louie....and stayed! You guys did your usual superlative job, so I have to lube and size and load. Below 30 degrees and a wind chill cuts down on my shooting, but I'll try them asap.

Merry Christmas to you and the boys at NOE.
