new boolits for me

YEA!!!!! hi everyone just wanted to share my happines. I got my first mold today and cast my very first boolit!!! i used a lee mold for the .358 and my first ones looked really good to me. So thank you all great people on here that share your years of knowlege, you helped me be very happy today. THANK YOU!!!!!

1911-- mines 79 t-toped 350 auto 50s on rear 60s on front. firebricker i had a smile ear to ear and waiting on my dies to arrive so hope next weekend... whitetail next weekend i hope to get pics up of boolits and the target with holes!! thanks guys

here is a pic of my first batch most looked really good. didnt get to shoot any yet waiting on my dies. if they fly half as good as i feel about them, 300 yards with my 357 will be a breeze. thanks again for the kind words.

Good looking batch of boolits there Camaro1st! There is a sense of accomplishment from casting your own boolits that cannot be found with store bought bullets.

BTW, I love your avatar. I had to put down my Britt about a year ago and I sure do miss him.

dean i am as proud of them as can be. as for the britt he is a little over a yr now. pointed his 1st pheasant when he was 3 months old. thanks. ....1911 thanks i think the shine is from me rubbing them so much. :kidding: mine is still in progress... gear you got me hook line and well i melted the sinker.. guys thank you for the pat on the back feels good to know dont have to go anywhere to have boolits to go :Fire: and now i can say :castmine: :drinks: i will have more pics to add later when i get my dies.. thanks again

nsp64 good call on the mold. ww/recycled bullets was the alloy of choice for this round. thanks!!
