anybody ever see the milled triggerguard from an 03, lengthend and used on an enfield? I've used it before and am in the process of building a rifle from different parts. it will be a pattern 14 receiver and bolt, with the dog leg straightened, milled 03 trigger guard, lengthend, either a takeoff winchester laredo 7 mag, or a flaigs-douglass xx in 264 win mag. stock is an english walnut sako blank that has been sitting for a few years. 100 dollars is about what I will have invested without the barrel work. I have had this stuff for a long time and it finally got to be its turn. the springfield triggerguard makes a lot better looking job when you are working with the enfields.

............Never thought about the Springfield, but I know the Krag triggerguards were popular as replacements. Sounds like a fun project. You gonna use a 26" bbl for either of those cartridges?
