Yes. I have to trim my .45 Colt brass every three reloadings or the mouths start to get uneven/crooked. That's at SAA pressures. The only ones I never trim are .45 ACP or .40 S&W, if they need a trim they are ready for the scrap bucket.

Jim, I rooted through a tobacco can of mixed 45 Colts and found 6 of them. Each case was 1.285". Every case in the can was rotary tumbler cleaned and resized.
Bad lot of brass maybe?

Not just straight pistol cases. Anything that gets crimped. I've got a hundred 32-20 cases that are all over the place, very few the same length. Got to get out the trimmer.
