Even though it isn't with a cast boolit, I thought I'd share my bison hunt with you all. I do have a mold for my 30-06 and promise to cast some boolits for it this winter! Anyway, I took the bison at 80 yards with my 30-06 and made a single shot kill.

I used Barnes Triple Shock 165 grainers. They were left over from my unsuccessful elk hunt this year!

Congrats on that "heavy duty elk" you got! How much did they estimate your buff at weight wise?

Thanks for the kind comments! The bison was taken in North central Nebraska. The guide estimated I would end up with 300+ lbs of meat. I haven't a good estimate on live weight though.
