Recently, I've noticed that many of my posts are going up double. I'm very careful about clicking the submit button once.
what the heck am I doing wrong?

Can we call you

sometimes it could be a web burp or also refreshing the page can sometimes cause it or even an accidental double click if only one click is needed , most often it's a glitch on the web IMHO

It can happen if your touch pad is being a PITA (Laptop) or even an older mouse on a regular desk top computer can sometimes have issues and click twice even though you only click once.

Here is a link for you with some general comments and fixes

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/266738

Or you may just need to get yourself another computer mouse if it's shot :).

I missed the insinuation about too much coffee. Only two a day.

As far as "fixing" the mouse, I was thinking of a Lee .458-405 FPHB over 49 gr. of 7383.

That will fix it better than new. :bigsmyl2:

Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, or perspectives.
I have seen several posters have that happen, and I wondered if it might be an internet connection issue.
I was making a funny before.
Sometimes, vernacular can be localized.

I have had the same thing happen. It happens on a regular basis and this is the only site it happens on. I know it is not my mouse or other equipment.
like I said , I post in 5 different forums and this is the only one it happens in.

Well, that just wraps it up then. We'll just have to set charges to the main server tower.

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but when you hit the button to edit the second post, there's also an option to delete it.

I've only had a double post occur once here, and I just deleted it. I think for me it was related to my wife's usage of the internet simultaneously to upload large photos to an online album.

No problem, I hate when I miss stuff like that, but I do it pretty regularly.

I was gonna PM ya, but I figured other folks might want to know as well.
