I saw a post on mixing johnsons paste wax and lee's liquid alox in order to make a nonsticky tumble lube and was going to try it. On that post you had commented about using your all natural carnuba instead. Your lanolin/carnuba/beeswax all intrigue me (especially being able to have organic ingredients around the house for wife skin care lip balm etc). I was wondering if you perhaps had a recipe for making a tumble lube out of some of your ingredients and liquid alox.

My apologies if you have already covered this in a post.

Short answer; You can enhance your tumble lube by adding some carnauba wax to it.
Tumble lube= Alox (50/50= alox and mineral spirits) + JPW. Place in a warming pan and add a few carnauba flakes. Your boolits will dry fast and have a hard tough coating on them.

Carnauba flakes will not work alone due to being a very hard wax and flaky.

On the skin care subject= There is no better skin care than Beeswax and oil oil or Beeswax and Lanolin, some use carnauba in it also. Skin care, boolit lube (black and smokless), water proofing leather. On and on....Thanks

To anybody considering buying Beeswax, Lanolin, Carnauba or Stearic Acid Randy is the best. He packages so that the worst that can be done to a package does not come close to damaging the contents and his weights are only fair to the BUYER!
