Does anyone know where you can buy these? I have never been able to find them. No doubt they will turn up right under my nose. Mick

Mick, I just checked Brownells, because they furnish some very fine slings, but no joy. Even their top of the line competition 1907 type sling has blued steel hooks. They do make those hooks available separately. Uncle Mike's has a military type sling with brass PLATED steel hooks, but I don't know if they sell the hooks alone. You might try searching Champion's Choice, Gil Hebard and other target shooter suppliers.

4fingermick,

SARCO has reproduction WW-1 slings with brass hardware.

I got one about 3 years ago. The leather is OK though it seems to me to be a bit on the thick side. The brass does create verdigris.

I saw no indication that they had brass hooks only available.

Have Fun,

JCherry

I've got one of these cheapo imported brass-hooked M1907 slings (complete with bogus 1917 date) on my Savage 12BVSS varmint rifle:
