It came in the mail last week, my Christmas present from my wife. I had to order it because she has no idea how. My present is a brand new, Ranch Dog tl358-100rf. To make matters worse the handles just came today. Just 19 more days until I'm allowed to use them. I can already hear her on Christmas morning, "Can't you wait until the kids are done opening their presents before you start casting bullets". :groner:

That's good. Better wait till after the presents are opened though.

Wives are so UNREASONABLE sometimes....

Well , the wife may be unreasonable but if the kids could keep a secret . Give them each twenty bucks to run around the house yelling "daddy daddy can we go cast bullets now ?!" Maybe an extra tenspot to jump around a bit and make it real believable .

It'd be a great show to watch

She'd never believe that one. I say kids but they're 22 and 19. The eldest doesn't care and my youngest only cares if I run out of 9mm ammo, because he's too young to buy any. The only interest he has shown was whether or not they'll work in his 9mm AR, and boy can a teenager pump ammo through one of those things. I'm going to try loading them for him just because I'll save 25 grains of lead on every shot.

I know the pain. Got a Marlin 1984s 44mag sitting in the closet that the wife wont let me take out until after Christmas. Will still have 2 weeks of rifle season after that though, maybe it will get blooded.

always easier to ask to be forgiven than seek permision.

Why do wives do this?

Can't they just give us cash and let us buy our presents for ourselves? :kidding:

(Only problem is it's my cash she'd just be giving back to me.)

Can't you just cast with it when she isn't looking and then put it back in the box to show you "haven't" used it!!:)

If you start heating up the casting pot just before you kick the 'kids' awake Christmas morning. It ought to be up to temperature and ready to go when they get done. If you open your present first and get it cleaning while they open theirs, you should be good to go.

Just put one of your other molds in the box and stick it back under the tree. She wouldn't know.....Hmmmmm, yup she would. Wives have magic powers. LOL
