I just cast my first batch using the die listed in the subject. What are your favorite loads - using Titegroup - for 9mm and for .357 magnum?

TIA

Doesn't anybody shoot this bullet in 9mm or .357 with Titegroup?

3.0 TiteGroup, CCI 550, 103 LWC, AVE 847.7

3.3 TiteGroup, CCI 550, 103 LWC, AVE 822.9

3.7 TiteGroup, CCI 550, 103 LWC, AVE 845.7

Seated and gentle roll crimp at base of cone protrusion of bullet.

This is the mold I use to make this bullet. Very similar bullet weight with WW. Point of impact inch and half low at twelve yards. From typical POA.

Thanks for the info!

Is that a typo or is the lightest powder load the one creating the highest velocity?

Hey, Prickett.... you tryin' to embarrass me by having me post my pop-gun load? 3.4 TG, Fed. 100, light taper crimp, .357 brass. Avg. 741 fps.

I have used these in .380 auto, 9mm, 38 spec. With my alloy and mold, .356 removes a substantial amount of lube groove though. In a .38 special with 2.5 of Bullseye,= nice plinker.

Seen that as I was writing the data down at the range. If i was to guess, I would say different case length plus Redding Profile Die led to different amounts of crimp. I had a RCBS case trimmer that gave me fits trying to get equal trim lengths awhile back. I replaced the RCBS one with a Wilson and life is better:) Not a knock on RCBS, but this is a wort that made it pass QC on a Monday morning after Cinco de Mayo or something. The POA difference has pushed this bullet out of the line up to retest, since acquiring a 358429 and a 358665 knock off to play around with.

I know this is an old thread, but this weekend I experimented with the Lee 105 and 7.7gn BE in 357 (per Lyman CB Handbook). Boy that was fun to shoot! I think I found my new lead-saving fun load. It was a great little plinker, even from the LCR. No leading either. Good times.

I did the same last month using Red Dot powder...lots of fun to shoot and a fantastic plinking load. IMHO REd Dot is better than Bullseye as it is fluffier. I load to 1,100 FPS in the .357 Mag... One needs to be careful that you don't double charge...use a loading block and inspect before seating the bullets.

I use them in my .380 and 38 spl. I don't have a 9mm, so i can't help you there. Amazingly, whatever the weight of bulseye is from a number 00 little dandy rotor it will still cycle a .380.

So much fun was had with these tiny boolits, that I cast a whole coffee can full this afternoon. 3 of my calibers will be very happy for a while!
