Test with 15.4 BH Lyman devastator in my ruger 77/44

The mix is 80/20 ACCOWW and pure with 12% pewter added to the mix. Boolit was PC'd and GC'd. Loaded with 23.8 grains of w296. Shot into totes filled with water at about 15 feet. Boolit started at 270 grains and weighed 155 grains after expanding and measured .679". It was shot into the first big blue tote. It went all the way through and cracked the back side but stayed inside of it. I'm going to guess compairable to 5 milk jugs in width. About the width of two whitetails standing together. UPDATE: 12/31/18...I tried this boolit out loaded at 1750 FPS on three white tails all in the same group. The first two ran like they werenít hit and made a good 100 and 140 yard run before expiring and the third one dropped where it stood. Two were lung and heart shots the other I couldnít examine because coyotes got to it before I did. The boolit passed through all three deer without expanding and left a boolit diameter exit hole but did tremendous damage inside from shattered rib fragments. Way too much damage done from a boolit that didnít expand and two deer ran way to far with good shot placements.
